Chanticleer International Book Awards is seeking the Best New SHORTS in FICTION and NON-FiCTION

We have five categories:

One solo entry per genre division is $45 (one Short Story, one Novelette, one Novella, or one Essay)

• If you have a COLLECTION or ANTHOLOGY and would like to enter it, please visit this web page for the CIBA Collections and Anthologies Book Awards.

Submissions Deadline for the SEA Short Story Awards is July 31, 2025

• All works will remain the property of the author and/or publisher. Period.
• No Flash Fiction, please.
• Essays and Works published on or before DEC 31, 2020 will be disqualified.
• Erotic works and extremely violent works will be disqualified if the judges deem them to be so.

You will be asked to upload your file (pdf, or Word file) when you enter the contest.

Prizes Awarded – to be determined – but they are always pretty awesome!
