For those of you who have attended the Chanticleer Authors Conference (CAC) and the Chanticleer Int’l Book Awards (CIBA) Ceremony and Banquet in the past, you know that we tend to do things differently.
We are excited to host the CIBAs in the evenings of CAC22!
It’s been a long year, and we are excited to come together as the close of winter!.
The Chanticleer Authors Conference will take place June 23-26, 2022.
CAC22 will be held starting on THURSDAY, June 23rd through SUNDAY, June 26, 2022.
Update on CIBA Ceremonies and the CIBA 2021 Grand Prize Ceremony
First Place and Grand Prize Winners will be Announced June 24th and 25th, 2022!
Join us for the CIBAs Ceremonies LIVE and IN PERSON at the Hotel Bellwether on the beautiful Bellingham Bay, in Washington state. During this exciting event we will announce the First Place and Grand Prize CIBA Division Winners for the 2021 CIBA Divisions.
With all the excitement of planning the Chanticleer Authors Conference, we can’t begin to say how much we miss all of you. During our Roost Happy Hours, you have expressed the desire to be together again. We feel the same.
We are eager to see you at the Chanticleer Authors Conference 6/23 – 6/26, at the Hotel Bellwether.

...And the Awards Dinner! I can’t say enough about it. It was fantastic. Like attending the Oscars. Everything – all weekend – was so well done and thought out and ran so smoothly, you’d think Chanticleer had an army of 100 working for them. All of this against a beautiful water view setting in Bellingham, Washington. Nothing is better than being called up on stage to accept you blue ribbon for winning first place in a genre category while a sea of authors applauds your achievement–except perhaps being in the audience when your name is announced as a Grand Prize Winner.
Authors from around the world will be honored at our gala and awards banquet. Will you be one of them?
If you have been chosen as a semifinalist, you owe it to yourself to be there so that you can celebrate your victory properly, in the company of your peers where you can smile, wave and have your photo taken with your ribbon and the glow of success beaming on your face.
Tickets are available as part of your Chanticleer Authors Conference package. Guest Tickets are available for attendees who wish to bring friends and family, just send us an email once you register. Winner or spectator, everyone loves being a part of this extravaganza of the year’s best books.
